Architecture

Open Personal Context is the context layer, not the storage layer

Autonym originally explored a vertically integrated protocol covering storage, consent, portability, context semantics and agent access. Active standards work now provides credible building blocks for several of those lower layers. Open Personal Context has therefore been deliberately narrowed.

The project will not recreate generic personal storage or OAuth-style authorisation. It will profile and reuse those standards and concentrate on the missing personal-context layer.
