Bindings

B2. Linked Web Storage binding

Status: informative in 1.0, normative in 2.0. Binds Linked Web Storage Protocol 1.0, W3C Working Draft of 21 September 2026 (see the adoption record). Document version 1.0-draft-1.

This binding will describe how a person's record can be kept in a Linked Web Storage or Solid pod instead of the provider's native store: the resource layout for a record, how access grants map to Open Personal Context grants, and what cannot be represented.

The draft is to be written after 1.0. Until then a provider-native store is the only described storage, and this file adds no requirement.

References to other standards and projects describe intended technical alignment only and do not imply endorsement or partnership.
